Easton recently got to try corn-on-the-cob for the first time. Like almost all foods he's ever tried, he seemed to really enjoy it!

Home of the Free...Because of the Brave
Every year for Memorial Day we load up the boys and head out to the local cemeteries with Gramma Deb & Papa Gary to put flags on the graves of all the veterans. Mike and I really enjoy teaching our boys about the importance of Memorial Day. We love how Xavier has quickly come to learn so much and humbly enjoy putting out flags each year, just like we do. There is so much history and mystery despite the small sizes of these cemeteries. We would love to learn more about some of the veterans, especially since there are some who served in the Civil War! We are so thankful for all the veterans - teaching our boys about this important day and doing this simple act of putting out flags is our way of saying "thank you."
You're never too young or too little to learn...or help.
So careful and proud
I like to see a man proud of the place in which he lives. I like to see a man live so that his place will be proud of him. ~Abraham Lincoln

Stop and smell the flowers
Easton runs around like crazy playing most of the time, but sometimes you just have to stop and smell the flowers!
God writes the Gospel not in the Bible alone, but also on trees, and in the flowers and clouds and stars. ~Martin Luther
