Drive In

A few weeks ago we went to our first drive in movie of the summer, Despicable Me 2.  Xavier enjoyed every moment.  Easton, however, is still too young to care about watching movies or TV, but he LOVED climbing around in the van, eating popcorn, and just hanging out with his big brother!

Hard Workin' Cousins

These three boys sure "work" hard!  They seem to enjoy the time they get to spend together very much!

Discovery Center

Earlier this summer the boys and I met Gramma Dawn at the Discovery Center to have some fun and avoid the heat.  We had an absolute blast!!!

The awesome tree house that they could climb in!

The hovercraft! (They weren't very impressed with this!
Easton's trying to get down as fast as possible while we're taking this picture!)

Gramma Dawn is electrifying!
The boys were quite amused with Gramma's hair!

The boys LOVED the area with the balls that they could scoop, dump, push, pull, etc.

Hide & Seek

While Xavier is at Sunday School, Mike, Easton, and I go to my classroom to get some work done, and/or play.  On this particular Sunday in May, Easton wanted to hide behind the doorway curtains I have in my classroom.

The toe of his shoe and his adorable happy giggle were a dead give away for where he was hiding.  He might be the worst hider ever, but it's okay because I think we have even more fun playing hide & seek Easton's way!

One of life's primal situations; the game of hide and seek. Oh, the delicious thrill of hiding while the others come looking for you, the delicious terror of being discovered, but what panic when, after a long search, the others abandon you! You mustn't hide too well. You mustn't be too good at the game. The player must never be bigger than the game itself. ~Jean Baudrillard

I'm lovin' it!

It's no secret that my boys love McDonald's (I'm not going to lie, I do too!).  This was their first time sitting on Ronald McDonald's lap together!

Photo Time!

The photographer from Missouri came again this summer, and we were able to get another good picture of the boys.

I look forward to him coming every year because he gets such cute pictures of the kids.  I'm not sure how he does it though since I have a hard enough time getting them both to look at me at the same time!

Play Ball!

In our house, baseball is synonymous with summertime.  This year Xavier was extremely excited to have his dad also be his teeball coach!

Xavier really enjoyed baseball this season, and I really enjoyed seeing him play.  It's amazing how much these little guys improve from one year to the next!  We're looking forward to next season already!
