Swinging

It's hard to beat swinging with Gramma!

The best kind of friend is the kind you can sit on a porch swing with, never say a word, then walk away feeling like it was the best conversation that you ever had.  ~Arnold H. Glasgow

Storybook Land

This summer was the first time we'd ever taken Xavier to Storybook Land.  It was also the first time I had ever been there!  We went there a few of times this summer and the boys absolutely loved it every time.

I have a feeling there will be more trips to Storybook Land in our future!

Two Lanes of Freedom

Mike and I went to a Tim McGraw concert earlier this summer while he was on his Two Lanes of Freedom Tour.  It was AMAZING!!!

Waiting in line.

Brantley Gilbert opened the show.

There he is!!!

We had SO much fun!  If you've never seen Tim McGraw in concert, you absolutely should!

First Day!

Xavier and I shared a first day of school!  Today was Xavier's first day of Kindergarten, and my first day of taking him to school with me.  We had such a fantastic day and thoroughly enjoyed listening to all of Xavier's stories about his first day of Kindergarten.

He asked if he could pose like this :)

How did the 1st day of Kindergarten come so quickly!?

Clean Shavin'

Xavier and Easton both got their own little cans of shaving cream with a play razor in their stockings for Christmas.  Easton hasn't really shown any interest in it until recently when he saw Mike shaving.  Then he wanted to shave too!  So, Mike helped show him the ropes...

How does this look, Dada?

Here, Dada, I'll shave yours now!

Drive In

A few weeks ago we went to our first drive in movie of the summer, Despicable Me 2.  Xavier enjoyed every moment.  Easton, however, is still too young to care about watching movies or TV, but he LOVED climbing around in the van, eating popcorn, and just hanging out with his big brother!

Hard Workin' Cousins

These three boys sure "work" hard!  They seem to enjoy the time they get to spend together very much!
